How this page works

Cached watchlist snapshot screened via Halal Terminal — a full sweep runs at most every 31 days plus a weekly refresh for stocks that reported earnings. Business activity and financial ratios from SEC filings, checked against seven published methodologies. No live API call per search, so it stays fast.

Why this page exists

Business activity and financial ratios, sourced from SEC filings, checked against seven published methodologies before anything reaches a signal — compliance isn't a filter bolted on after the fact. Full detail on the methodology and why a specific verdict landed where it did is one click away on every row.

Why these numbers, what "needs review" means, and what's still pending

This page holds 11,984 symbols with a status, from two independent engines. 1,968 carry a reviewed third-party provider verdict; the rest were screened in-house against published ratio methodologies computed from primary filings. The provider verdict always wins where there is one — an in-house ratio never silently replaces a reviewed opinion.

Of the provider's 1,968: 1260 compliant, 587 non-compliant, 31 questionable (a real middle status some providers use — not a clean pass, not a confirmed fail), and 88 unrated (the provider has no data at all). Each status is counted separately, never merged into a single non-compliant bucket. A further 2 carried a provider hedge that our own screen answered in the failing direction, and are reported as not determined — we decline to assert non-compliant from our own ratios alone. Every current watchlist symbol already has a real cached verdict — no coverage gap.

Needs review is a separate signal from a different engine (our own 7-methodology ratio + business-activity screen, see Methodology) — it never overrides the verdict shown above. It's checked in a small daily batch against a shared, limited daily quota (not the whole watchlist at once), so 1691/1968 (85.9%) is real, honest progress toward full coverage, not a stalled or broken engine.
